This week, we dive into 1 Peter Chapter 2 to learn the actions that follow belief! Peter makes it clear: we must actively put away five specific sins (malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander). These are sins we choose to pick up when we stop trusting God.
Instead of carrying that weight, we are commanded to become “newborn infants” again—pure, innocent, and completely dependent. This isn’t about being childish, but childlike, eagerly craving the pure, spiritual milk of God’s Word so that we can grow and mature in our salvation.
